Responsible Manufacturing
At our state-of-the-art cotton yarn factory in Burkina Faso, we are proud to operate with 100% renewable energy, sourced entirely from solar and other clean energy solutions. This commitment extends to all our international warehouses, where the facilities in San Pedro (Côte d'Ivoire), Kribi (Cameroon), Lomé (Togo), and Ecuador are also powered exclusively by solar and renewable energy sources. By embracing sustainable energy across our entire value chain, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint while delivering high-quality cotton yarn in an environmentally responsible manner.
Circular Sourcing
At Lithorex, sustainability is integrated into every stage of our supply chain. We promote responsible sourcing, recyclable packaging, efficient logistics, and the productive use of agricultural by-products. By working closely with suppliers, logistics partners and customers, we support circular economy principles that minimize waste, maximize resource efficiency and contribute to a lower environmental footprint across our global operations.
Water & Waste Management
At Lithorex, we are committed to responsible water stewardship and effective waste management throughout our supply chain. While our core business is international agricultural commodity trading rather than manufacturing, we work with logistics providers, warehouses, processors and suppliers to promote efficient water use, minimize operational waste and encourage responsible resource management.
We support recycling initiatives for packaging materials, promote the recovery and reuse of pallets, bulk bags and shipping materials whenever practical, and encourage suppliers to implement water conservation and waste reduction practices. Through continuous improvement and collaboration with our partners, we aim to reduce environmental impacts across our global operations.

1. Responsible Water Use

- Promote rainwater harvesting and water recycling where technically feasible.
